Phillipps Steps Up To Replace Knue

Two long-time editors at The Cincinnati Post resigned this
week, sources at the newspaper said.

Paul Knue, editor of the Post, will briefly consult for
parent company, E.W. Scripps Co. before he takes early
retirement. Robert Kraft, managing editor, also resigned.

Knue, who first started working for the Post in 1970, will
be succeeded by Mike Phillipps, assistant managing
editor/Cincinnati. Phillipps will assume the editor’s position on
May 1.

Knue served as editor of the Cincinnati daily for almost 20
years.
