CNET Networks Inc. of San Francisco will provide technology product reviews and shopping functionality for NYTimes.com and Boston.com, beginning this fall. At the Times site, the new content will be rolled out in a redesign of the Technology section.
“Technology is one of our most popular content areas,” said Catherine Levene, vice president of product, business development and strategy for New York Times Digital. She said the CNET content would extend the Times’ reach into the personal technology marketplace.
The pages, including reviews of computers, digital cameras, and cell phones, will be cobranded.
