Self-syndicated columnist Ray Hanania will be one of the performers on the “Israel-Palestinian Comedy Tour.”
Confirmed shows include Jan. 24, Jan. 25, and Jan. 31 performances in Jerusalem.
Hanania, whose column often comments on Mideast issues, is a Palestinian-American journalist and stand-up comedian married to a Jewish woman.
The other three comedians are Aaron Freeman (a black man who converted to Judaism), Charley Warady (who emigrated from the U.S. to Israel 10 years ago), and Yisrael Campbell (a former Catholic who became an Orthodox Jew). Emceeing the shows is Shachar Chason, an Israeli stand-up comedian.
