The Scott Burns-Home Depot saga will continue this Sunday.
In the March 4 installment of his Universal Press Syndicate financial column, Burns discussed his disappointment with changes he has seen in Home Depot — including a cutback in employees available to help shoppers. After thousands of people expressed similar feelings on message boards and Burns’ blog, Home Depot CEO Frank Blake promised that his stores would become more customer-friendly.
Burns will use this Sunday’s column to respond to Blake’s letter, analyze the many testimonies from unhappy customers and unhappy Home Depot employees, and more.
