An exhibit titled “A Cartoon Legacy” is running through January 8 at the Westport Historical Society in Connecticut.
The show focuses on the comics done by members of the Walker and Browne families. They include “Beetle Bailey” by Mort Walker; “Hagar the Horrible,” which was originally done by the late Dik Browne and is now continued by his son Chris Browne; and “Hi and Lois,” which was originally done by Mort and Dik and is now continued by their sons Brian Walker, Greg Walker, and Chance Browne.
All three strips are distributed by King Features Syndicate.
