ContextWeb, a New York City-based contextual advertising company, announced agreements with six publishers today. The deal will expand targeted advertisements across several financial-based content categories. The company now displays contextual advertisements across a publishing network that includes over 50 Web publishers.
Those joining the ContextWeb network include USAToday.com, TheStreet.com, StockHouse, InstitutionalInvestor.com, InvestorsHub, and Silicon Investor.
These sites will now be equipped with ContextAd, a trademarked advertising format that provides contextual ads using both category and keyword-based matching.
