New York, NY – CT1 Media, a Tribune Company, is announcing on June 18 a partnership with LocalVox Media in an effort to monetize on the increasing need for local business marketing online and revamp the cost-per-impression advertising ecosystem publications face today.
Following a lengthy selection process, CT1Media determined the LocalVox platform (http://localvox.com/local-solutions) offered the best technology for small and medium businesses to market online, and will immediately begin utilizing the portal with advertisers at The Hartford Courant and associated CT1 Media properties.
The cooperation marks New York-based LocalVox’s first geographic market expansion. “Our robust marketing platform allows local businesses to build their brands online through social, local and mobile marketing. LocalVox gives CT1 Media a revenue stream orders of magnitude more effective than CPM-based advertising while providing valuable local content. We are thrilled to partner with CT1 Media in offering our next-generation solution,” said LocalVox Media cofounder David Pachter.
In addition to leveraging large local audiences by publishing local business content on www.courant.com, The Hartford Courant’s news and information website, the LocalVox Platform will provide merchants a simpler way to manage their online presence vis-a-vis search engines, directories, and communications with customers.
“With LocalVox, CT1 Media can harness new revenue opportunities by leveraging our large local audiences and partnering with the numerous businesses that are smaller than traditional regional advertisers,“ said Nancy Meyer at CT1 Media.
The partnership comes on the heels of the startup’s expansion to a 14,000 square foot prime office in Manhattan’s financial district.
