Dauphin Graphic Machines Inc. in Elizabethville, Pa., announced three sales of singlewide printing equipment.
AFL Web Printing, Voorhees, N.J., installed one DGM 430 four-high tower addition, which it uses for publications printing. The tower brings to 38 the total number of the printer’s DGM press units. AFL plans to install a remote inking system for all its DGM units in the near future.
Bear River Publishing, Preston, Idaho, is about to install a DGM 440 four high and one DGM 1035 folder. The printer of the Logan (Utah) Herald Journal, Pocatello’s Idaho State Journal, and the Rexburg (Idaho) Standard Journal will use the new DGM 440 press primarily to run UV inks and insert work, though it also will handle some newspaper work.
The Breeze Corp., Cape Coral, Fla., bought 20 units of the DGM 430 press (configured as four four-highs and two two-highs) and two DGM 1035 folders. The new DGM press line will print weekly tabloids and commercial work. Installation, now under way in Breeze’s new plant in Fort Myers, Fla., is expected to be completed by August.
