Comprising 12 weeklies throughout Delaware, Dover Post Newspaper Publications has digitized advertising proofs and tearsheets, eliminating hard-copy versions for all advertisers using Adinfinitum Advertising Portal. From Presteligence Inc., North Canton, Ohio.
To gain their projected ROI, sales reps needed to eliminate the cost and time of mailing proofs and tearsheets within 30 days of launching the service. They ran ROP ads, sent postcards to all clients, and promoted the system in sales calls. “We quickly converted clients, and we now have over 1000 advertisers signed up in Adinfinitum,” the project’s leader, General Sales Manager Josh Trust, said in a statement.
Advertisers and sales staff upload files, review proofs, and approve ads. Advertisers use the feature that allows them to submit “camera-ready” ads to the site, and sales reps can approve and annotate the ads without printing them.
When sales reps log in, they can narrow their searches of proofs by their sales IDs, run dates, deadlines, publications, and status levels, providing a bird’s eye view of the status of clients’ ads.
“Implementing the online proofing process by Adinfinitum has helped to streamline our entire workflow,” said Creative Services’ staffer Brian Dawson. Besides status information and history, he added, e-mail links can be used to track an ad at any time. “I can tell when I received the ad and who I assigned it to.”
