To be in and running by the middle of next month, a Dauphin Graphics Machines press sold to The Daily Reporter of Greenfield, Ind., consists of two DGM 430 four-highs and one DGM 1030 folder. The 11,600-circulation Monday-through-Saturday Reporter’s pressroom also handles commercial printing, running three shifts.
Last month, the Elizabethville, Pa.-based singlewide-press manufacturer installed a similar size machine at commercial and publications printer Grand River Printing and Publishing, Van Buren, Mich.
Inco Graphics of Mason, Mich., bought three DGM four-highs, two DGM 430 two-highs and a DGM 1035 folder — a new press line for the printer of weekly and monthly newspapers, magazines and minitabs. Installation is slated to be finished later this month.
