Digital First Media, Last Month a Buyer, Becomes a Seller

After pulling off quite a coup by paying the equivalent of less than $16 million for two southern California dailies.

On Wednesday, it acknowledged selling the Salt Lake Tribune to Paul Huntsman, the CEO of Huntsman Family Investments, a Salt Lake City–based private investment company. He’s the brother of Jon Huntsman, Jr., the former Utah governor, who made a relatively moderate run for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2012, and the son of Jon Huntsman, Sr., an industrialist and philanthropist who built the prominent family firm.
