Virtanza Vocational University, an interactive 10-week sales training and certification program, has announced the addition of member company Dix Communications to its growing list of member companies. Graduates of VVU’s programs, which span several proficiency levels, will now be eligible for employment at Dix Communications and other member companies.
“We are excited to connect graduates to Dix Communications and their portfolio of media companies and sales opportunities,” said Debbie Holzkamp, Virtanza founder.
Since its inception, Virtanza has certified more than 1,850 graduates of its sales training programs. One of the most distinctive things about the Virtanza Vocational University program is that graduates are provided with job placement services upon completion into member companies like Dix Communications.
VVU assesses students to determine which sales program is the right fit for them. From there, students enroll and then complete a 10-week program. The program includes online and classroom components. Along the way, students receive crucial sales process training. They can also complete and earn their MS Office certification, which demonstrates to employers that they are proficient with this important software.
“Virtanza certified graduates will be open to be placed into member companies with significant opportunities such as Dix Communications, one of the largest family owned businesses in the region” said Holzkamp. “We’re excited about welcoming Dix Communications into our exclusive group of member companies offering jobs to our graduates. Dix Communications has more than 10 openings to fill, and those who complete this upcoming program will be eligible for consideration.”
The Virtanza Vocational University operates under the leadership of Holzkamp, founder and president of HDS Premier Consulting, and Sabrina Crow, chief strategy officer of HDS Premier Consulting. The boutique management consulting company is headquartered in Orange County, California.
Dix Communications is a fifth generation, family-owned business bringing news and multimedia marketing and advertising opportunities to their communities since 1890. Dix Communications owns and operates seven daily newspapers, radio stations and a multitude of digital products and marketing services.
