MediaXpress Handles Content Delivery For Several Publications

Dow Jones & Co. has selected Wavo Corp.’s MediaXpress to handle Extensible Markup Language (XML)-based content delivery of news from several of its publications.

Dow Jones’ clients can receive online content from Dow Jones Business News, Barron’s, and The Wall Street Journal for posting on their Web sites, portals, and corporate extranets.

MediaXpress, Wavo’s content delivery service, distributes XML-based content so that clients can easily and quickly post the news on their own Internet-based publications. Jessica Perry, vice president of business development for Dow Jones Interactive Publishing, said in a statement that the news will delivered in XML News Industry Format.

Phoenix-based Wavo Corp. also produces Virgin JamCast, which delivers music to PCs.
