DTI Exec Cycles Length of Great Britain for Charity

Steve Wright, customer services director for Digital Technology International, is preparing for the “End-to-End” charity bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats, United Kingdom, aiming to raise 4,000 pounds for The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted, which supports patients and families facing serious illness.

Wright will begin with six other members of Leverstock Green Cycling team, on Aug. 1, and will cycle for an average of 70 miles daily. DTI is supporting Wright as a premier sponsor of the ride.

Completing the route from south Cornwall to northern Scotland is approximately 874 miles will take more than two weeks. Cycling for four years, the 21-year-DTI veteran has undertaken other challenges such as the U.K. coast-to-coast routes. Leverstock Green Cycling over the last 11 years has raised nearly 32,000 pounds for The British Heart Foundation in the annual 54-mile London-to-Brighton ride.
