Atex announced an increasing number of new contracts as a result of its partnership with ClassWizard GmbH in Moerfelden-Walldorf, Germany.
ClassWizard provides a page design system created to speed existing work processes. The PDF-based ad-pagination and page-planning complement Atex content-management and advertising solutions.
Early this year, De Telegraaf, the Netherlands’ largest daily, switched to ClassWizard to manage all page planning. Integration with the existing Atex Mactive advertising system relied on both systems’ open architecture, and increased productivity, especially in page output, according to Atex.
Seeking a flexible solution for advertising and advertising page production, Westdeutsche Verlags- und Druckerei GmbH, a subsidiary of Frankfurter Societaet, chose Atex Mactive and ClassWizard owing to advanced pagination features that enable higher-quality production and more efficient workflow.
The most recent order for an Atex-ClassWizard solution was from Berlin’s Verlag Der Tagesspiegel, for magazine planning and production. Editorial content will be managed using the new Hermes 11 system.
