Dynaxys in Englewood, Colo., and Digital Technology International, Springville, Utah, have completed an interface to invoice Realtors placing display ads in the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader.
Using Realty Ad Express from Dynaxys’ Virtual AdTaker product line, customers create, preview and proof, and pay for display ads via the Internet. The interface can either send the billing information or prepayment into the Herald-Leader DTI system, replacing manual gathering and entering of customer information, ad copy and photos. Private-party and commercial customers can use the process for in-column in any category or real estate display ads.
Automatically feeding ad orders from VAT into the DTI classified system, “has dramatically reduced the amount of sales staff time needed to process these ads,” Advertising Operations Manager Mary Ann Hatton said in a statement. “It also greatly reduces the possibility for error that can occur when ads are manually entered.”
Virtual AdTaker’s Realty Ad Express provides real estate agents, brokers and home builders the tools to build image-rich display ads online, with data and photos can loaded manually or accessed from a third-party data feed. Credit cards also may be accepted for individual transactions based on newspaper pricing packages.
Virtual AdTaker is one of several product lines created and hosted by Dynaxys, which designs, builds, operates and supports data-management tools.
