The E. W. Scripps Co. has partnered with SportsHuddle.com, a national network of high
school sports Web sites, to integrate its 18 daily newspaper sites into SportsHuddle’s
Several Scripps newspapers already have co-branded sites powered by SportsHuddle.com in
place. The Denver Rocky Mountain News has been working with the sports network since
December to produce the site’s RockyPreps.
SportsHuddle will provide Scripps’ 18 newspapers with high school sports statistics that
can be published in the print edition and posted on the co-branded sites. SportsHuddle
also will provide its proprietary software application, SportsHuddle Publishing System,
to handle data preparation for publication in both mediums.
The St. Louis-based sports network combines high school sports game results and statistics
for almost 22,000 high schools in the U.S.
