Fairfax Newspaper Printing Move Cuts 27 Jobs

New Zealand: Twenty-seven staff will lose their jobs at the Marlborough Express in November after newspaper owner Fairfax Media confirmed it will move the printing operation to Nelson.

Nine full-time staff from printing and production and 18 casual part-time staff from dispatch and circulation will be let go after the Express is printed in Blenheim for the last time on November 4.
