Financial Times Hopes Speedy New Website Will Boost Subscribers

The Financial Times has officially rolled out a new website, which it hopes will drive increased readership and help grow its subscriber base.

The publisher claims the new site is “one of the fastest in the world,” loading in under 1.5 seconds on desktop devices and 2.1 seconds on mobile.

The FT’s new site will also include a range of new customization options to enable readers to more easily access the types of content most relevant to their interests, the company said.
