Hoping to grab new readers while holding on to current subscribers, The Financial Times launched a $1 million advertising campaign this month.
The print ads created by agency M&C Saatchi New York feature business marketing executives along with their advice on “the art of being global.” The ads will run through the end of the year in publications including The New York Times and The New Yorker as well as in advertising trade publications.
Fashion and portrait photographer Platon shot the ads. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, and GQ.
CORRECTION, May 25: Due to incorrect information provided by the FT’s publicity firm, an earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that BusinessWeek would carry the newspaper’s ad campaign.
