‘Fine-Tooning the Planet’ From Cartoonist Steve Greenberg

By: E&P Staff

Steve Greenberg has self-published his first book: “Fine-Tooning the Planet,” a collection of environmental editorial cartoons.

Greenberg does editorial cartoons for The Ventura County (Calif.) Star, and his work is distributed by Scripps Howard News Service.

The book’s 115 drawings — from Greenberg’s three-decade career in Southern California, the Bay Area, and Seattle — are organized by topics such as “Global Warming,” “The Air We Breathe,” “Drillin’ and Spillin’,” “Earth’s Resources,” and “Politics (from Watt to Dubya).”

There’s also a foreword by Denis Hayes, who organized the first Earth Day in 1970.

Greenberg is a former contributing cartoonist to Editor & Publisher magazine.
