L?nsi-Suomi Yhtym? Oy, publisher of L?nsi-Suomi Sanomalehti, has chosen Helsinki-basesd Anygraaf to implement new advertising-management and Web content-management systems at the 103-year-old main daily in Rauma and surrounding cities in western Finland, where it circulates approximately 16,700 copies.

L?nsi-Suomi Sanomalehti is installing Anygraaf’s Doris ePlanner Web-based edition-management software, which will integrate with Anygraaf’s Doris32 asset-management and publishing-production software, already in used.

Doris32 includes integrated archiving and management for many document types including articles, images, pages and graphics as well as audio and video clips. The multi-channel production system enables a write-once, publish-many environment that allows users to manage content for print and electronic media at the same time. At L?nsi-Suomi Yhtym? Oy, Doris 32 integrates with Atex advertising and circulation systems.

A visually oriented tool for creating and controlling Web-based publications, Doris ePlanner allows planning, building and managing a Web site via an easy-to-use graphical interface. The system also allows the papers to maintain Web features such as message forums, video and audio galleries, reader polls, ad placement management. It also provides the status of all materials assigned to a page, including publication date, number of views, and location of a story within a publication. Article statistics, such as number of views, are stored in a database for later analysis. Materials also can be scheduled for automatic publication and/or removal from the Web on a specific date and time. Tow-way content management permits readers to submit content that moves right to the Doris32 editorial system for easy review and handling by editors.

Besides publishing Sanomalehti Oy L?nsi-Suomi and Kaupunkilehti Uusi Rauma, the Lansi-Suomi Yhtym? Oy group of companies operates a printing company, radio station and pharmaceutical packaging company.
