‘Florida Times-Union’ Appoints Reader Advocate

Wayne Ezell, publisher of The News Chief in Winter Haven, Fla., has been appointed reader advocate for The Florida Times-Union.

Ezell, 61, has been publisher of The News Chief since 1996. He has held several management positions at the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader and served as editor of the Boca Raton (Fla.) News. He replaces Mike Clark, who was named editor of the Times-Union’s editorial page in March.

Both the News Chief and the Times-Union are owned by Morris Communications in Augusta,Ga.
