Free Women’s Content For Web Sites
FlyWheel Media, formerly known as Thomson Target Media and Thomson
Interactive Media, is offering Body & More, free women’s content
for newspaper Web sites.
The editorial content covers health, fitness, nutrition, and
relationships for women aged 25 to 54. Content from the syndicated
print version, which the company says already reaches more than 1.7
million households, will also appear online, including features such
as Dr. Gilda’s advice column, health tips from Physicians Desk
Reference, celebrity work styles, and fitness tips.
Media partners that select Body & More can co-brand the content, but
advertising is sold by Flywheel Media. The Chicago-based company plans
to sell local and national advertising for both print and online.
Publisher Stephen Weis says over 400 newspapers have already signed up
for the Body & More Web module. Debut advertisers for the section
include GreenAcre.com, Nutramax Laboratories and efit.com.
