Study Shows Net Beats Brokers, Friends, Traditional Media
Active investors looking for financial news are more likely to turn to the Internet than they are to look in this morning’s newspaper. That’s the conclusion of a new study from the National Association of Investors Corp.(http://www.better-investing.org) and PR Newswire
News and financial Web sites are the No. 1 source for investment information for 95% of the 622 individuals polled. Business and financial magazines came in second, followed by company news releases. Newspapers ranked seventh, after investment clubs, corporate Web sites, and library resources.
Survey respondents also ranked financial Web sites as the most credible sources of investing information.
