Former ‘NYT’ Edit Page Editor Collins to Speak at University

Former editor of The New York Times editorial page Gail Collins will be giving a free talk on Nov. 14, at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio on ?Opinion-making in an Age of Contention,? The Cincinnati Enquirer reported today.
Collins was named the first female editor of the Times? editorial pages in August 2001, and will step down as editorial page editor in January and plans to return to the paper as a columnist in July.
The free lecture will begin at 4 p.m in 128 Pearson Hall.
