A former Tulsa newspaper carrier is heading to prison for life after pleading guilty to assaulting an elderly woman who lived on his route.
Paul Williford, a carrier for the Tulsa World, admitted to strangling the 75-year-old woman and also pleaded guilty to robbery and burglary charges.
After he was arrested Williford told police he killed two other women who had lived on his route.
Both of the women were thought to have died of natural causes but an autopsy on the body of one found she was strangled. The body of the second woman was cremated.
Investigations into those deaths is ongoing.
