“Frazz” has won a 2005 Wilbur Award from the Religion Communicators Council.

Jef Mallett’s comic, which also received a Wilbur two years ago, stars an elementary-school janitor who’s a Renaissance man. It appears in 150 newspapers via United Media.

The other 2005 Wilbur winners included columnist Bill Tammeus of The Kansas City Star and Knight Ridder/Tribune News Service.
