Friends and Colleagues Seek Support for NYT Photog

By: E&P Staff

New York Times contract photographer Joao Silva lost both his legs on October 23 when he stepped on a mine in Afghanistan. He is currently being treated in the ICU at Walter Reed.

Friends and colleagues have set up a website to sell his prints and collect donations in order to top off the assistance provided by The Times.
