First U.S. Campaign For Financial Times Site
Business publications both online and off are shelling out big bucks for advertising
campaigns launched last week.
FT.com is spending $35 million for its first U.S. advertising campaign. The Financial
Times Web site hired BBDO New York as the branding agency. The campaign will appear in
a variety of media: television, newspaper, magazine, and the Internet.
Investor’s Business Daily, the Los Angeles-based daily, also launched a campaign last
week worth $20 million. The first ad appeared during a NCAA basketball game on March 23.
Young & Rubicam San Francisco have created a campaign including broadcast, print, and
