Mercy Corps — which helps people affected by natural disasters, conflicts, poverty, and other hardships — has itself been getting help from Getty Images’ Media Management Services (MMS).

A new study said MMS has enabled Mercy Corps to increase its online collection to more than 15,000 images, reduce costs associated with uploading images (freeing up money for aid programs), simplify the process of selecting images used in marketing materials that attract donors, and do other things.

The 2005-launched MMS is a Web-based service offered in 17 languages from Getty Images, whose clients include newspapers.
