Columnists Ann Coulter and James Dobson, as well as editorial cartoonist Sean Delonas, were among the “2006 Anti-Gay Defamation Offenders” named by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

Coulter, a columnist for Universal Press Syndicate, was cited for calling former Vice President Al Gore a “total fag” on a July “Hardball” show hosted by Chris Matthews (a former newspaper columnist himself).

Dobson, who also writes a Universal feature, was named for writing a December Time magazine piece titled “Two Mommies Is One Too Many.”

And the New York Post’s Delonas was cited for two October cartoons, including one showing a man carrying a sheep wearing a bridal veil to a “New Jersey Marriage Licenses” window.
