Goss International recently completed a web-width reduction for El Nuevo Dia in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, where four Goss presses, including two Colorliner systems, were converted.

The presses — which earlier increased color capacity by 50% with additional units and upgrades to the HO presses, alongwith new consoles and DigiRail inkers — print the 190,099-circulation (222,249 Sunday) Nuevo Dia and 129,701-circulation Primera Hora.

“The reduction in web-width will allow us to reduce our costs while maintaining a tabloid product that satisfies our customers and market needs,” Nuevo Dia Production Vice President Jose Espinal said in a statement.
