The Raab Collection this fall is planning to sell two original eulogies given by Grover Cleveland to the Associated Press.
Cleveland was a former president and living in Princeton, N.J., when he wrote the eulogies in 1901. One was for another former president, Benjamin Harrison, who died of pneumonia in March of that year. The other was for President William McKinley, who died in September 1901 after being shot.
Cleveland gave the eulogies, which are being sold for $8,000, to Princeton-based AP reporter H.L. Bowlby.
