Gunmen Attack Mexican Newspaper, No Injuries

ACAPULCO, Mexico — Mexican officials say gunmen attacked a newspaper office in the resort city of Acapulco, spraying the building with bullets but causing no injuries.

El Sur newspaper has been a fierce critic of the government of Guerrero state, where Acapulco is located.

El Sur director Juan Angulo says police should investigate possible political motives as well as crime gangs, which have been implicated in dozens of recent attacks on journalists.
