Hearst Magazines Will Test Out New Print Concepts in 2016

Hearst Magazines president David Carey says that the company will test out new print magazine concepts in 2016, and partner with “next-generation content creators and technology companies” to launch new editorial products and joint ventures.


Carey addressed the company’s future plans in his annual letter to staff. Because Hearst is not publicly traded, the annual letters provide an interesting glimpse into the company’s strategy and finances.
