The Library of Congress (LOC) today opened an exhibit of editorial cartoons and sketches by Herblock, who died in 2001.
It is a small preview of a major show that LOC will host in 2009, the 100th anniversary of Herblock’s birth. The preview is slated to run until next January.
Herblock was an editorial cartoonist from 1929 to 2001, with the last 55 of those years spent at The Washington Post.
News of the exhibit was mentioned on ComicsReporter.com and DailyCartoonist.com.
