Honorary Doctorate for Canadian Cartoonist ‘Aislin’

Terry Mosher, editorial cartoonist for The Gazette of Montreal, will receive an honorary doctorate from McGill University on May 31.

Mosher, known as “Aislin” to readers, was a high school dropout who began drawing for The Gazette in 1972. His work is syndicated by Cagle Cartoons.

The upcoming doctorate was mentioned on the Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists’ Web site.
