An enormous collection marking the 20th anniversary of the “Dilbert” comic is scheduled to be released this September by Andrews McMeel Publishing (AMP).
“Dilbert 2.0: 20 Years of Dilbert” will have about 600 pages, feature nearly 4,000 strips, and weigh more than 10 pounds. It will also include a disc that contains every “Dilbert” strip and that can be updated as new comics are released.
In addition, the slipcased book will offer comments and humorous asides by cartoonist Scott Adams, look at Adams’ pre-“Dilbert” career, include his rejection letters and first cartooning check, and more.
AMP said the large “Dilbert” book is in “the tradition” of its previously released “The Complete Far Side” and “The Complete Calvin and Hobbes” volumes.
The 1989-launched “Dilbert” runs in more than 2,000 newspapers via United Media.
