Company Provides Permissions Services To Many Publishers


iCopyright.com laid off another 18 people on Thursday, leaving 6
people behind to wind down operations and look for a buyer,
reported the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. This is the third
layoff in the past 60 days for the Renton, Wash.-based tech
company that has agreements with 350 news organizations.

Dan Dixon, an iCopyright co-founder who returned to oversee the
layoffs, told the P-I that potential buyers include one
local company and two national firms.
