The Idaho Press-Tribune has hired a new publisher to lead the Treasure Valley newspaper.
Rick Weaver will assume his new role in July.
Weaver, who is 54, is currently the publisher and president of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, in Bozeman, Montana
He worked there for the last nine years.
Weaver replaces Stephanie Pressly, who served the Press-Tribune for nearly four years.
Pressly will take over Weaver’s post at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
Dave Lord, president of Pioneer Newspapers, which owns both newspapers, said the publisher swap is a natural fit that will ultimately benefit both papers.
