Dario Designs in Framingham, Mass., announced it has added four people in the last four months, continuing an employee-per-month hiring trend over the last year. Among its newest employees is newspaper operations veteran Michael Ide, who will serve as senior process consultant.
Others recently joining the newspaper architecture and engineering firm are Victoria Leonard and Kristian Anderson in administration, Blair LeBlanc as full-time information systems manager, architectural intern Eric Reynolds, architectural designers Humberto Bernal, Ron Ashton, and Leo Parker, and project managers John Juros and Charles Mitsis.
With extensive software engineering and newspaper and printing experience, Ide started as a field engineer with Letterflex Systems. After five years with The Providence Journal, he spent the next 20 working at the Boston Globe, first as a software engineering manager and eventually working his way up to production vice president. Most recently, Ide was aftermarket business development director at press maker Goss International.
In his new position, Ide will work with David Ehrhardt in Dario Designs’ front-end services division, handling masterplans, feasibility studies, front-to-back process analysis, operational studies, equipment RFP’s, and production planning.
