Ifra has extended the registration deadline for its XMA Cross Media Awards to June 15. Newspaper publishing companies interested in participating may register here and submit applications for this year’s topic, “cross-media branding and design.”
The IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2009 distinguish publishing houses with challenging and outstanding designs that communicate their brands in clear, distinct ways and through different channels (E&P Online, Feb. 9).
For the first time, the IFRA XMA Awards are a co-production with the Society for News Design. The objective of the 4th XMA Cross Media Awards is to present the best examples of design in newspapers that combine different print and digital channels to get their brand across.
The IFRA XMA Cross Media Awards 2009 competition is sponsored by Adobe and supported by Protecmedia.
Winners will be announced Oct. 12-15 at the Ifra Expo in Vienna, and presented at an XMA special showing. A short list of the best projects will be previewed at the SND Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sept. 24-26.
