LEVINS LEAVES APBNEWS.com
Hoag Levins, executive editor at crime news site APBnews.com,
yesterday resigned after two and a half years with the
editorially acclaimed Web site. Levins, who had been executive
editor at E&P prior to joining APBnews.com, wrote in his
resignation letter that “the time seems right to move on.” But
last month, APBnews.com’s owner SafetyTips.com struggled in
getting paychecks out.
UPI HEAD STEPS DOWN

International, announced last week that he is giving up his

D.M. Joo, president of News World Communications, will take the
helm at UPI. News World Communications Inc., a company founded by
the Rev. Sung Myung Moon, leader of the Unification Church,
acquired UPI this past year.
