Developer 4Cplus of Delhi, India, will show its editorial and advertising systems and e-paper solutions in the U.S. for the first time at Nexpo later this month. The editorial solutions provider in India and Nepal recently installed its NewsWrap editorial system at the Mail Today, an English-language daily launched by London’s Daily Mail and the India Today group.

NewsWrap uses a filter-based wire services and bureau server to route and manage incoming content. Articles are streamed into a common workflow for text and graphics, and the communications engine then routes pages, articles and images to multiple printing or editorial locations. The system is used by 35 newspapers, including India’s Dainik Bhaskar and Dainik Jagran groups, publishers of dailies that each circulates more than 2.5 million copies.

On the ad side, the company has developed the CIO|365 advertising system and Layout-X page-planning system for display, classified and online advertising, which is supported by an accounts receivable system. Layout-X also can be integrated with third-party ad systems.

The company’s eDaily application can be used to generate a digital replica of the print edition online. Newspapers either can purchase the application or contract 4Cplus’ digitization services for e-paper/ e-magazine and archives. 4Cplus also offers other back-office outsourcing services for newspaper prepress and business processes.
