Inland Newspaper Machinery Corp., Lenexa, Kan., reports sales of color add-ons and other press upgrades during the third quarter of 2007.
Enhanced color capacity through add-on units is under way at the Frontiersman, Wasilla, Alaska, in a second-phase upgrade that includes both mono and stacked units (see May E&P).
Inland also is completing an add-on stacked pair for The Union Democrat, Sonora, Calif., where the units will be added to a relocated press in a new facility in late October.
Inland’s brokerage division has added to its offerings three Goss Urbanite presses from Hendersonville, N.C.; Paducah, Ky., and Marion, Ind. Goss Community listings include an 8-unit/2-folder SSC press from Garfield Heights, Ohio. and a Harris V15C/D press in Holyoke, Mass.
Beyond equipment sales, “tax appraisal and consulting services continue to grow for the company as groups address economic issues and trends,” Inland President Beau Campbell said in a statement. “We expect the last half of the year for the used equipment business to be strong based on current level of activity.”
