Integration X A/S, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, has signed a contract with Oslo-based A-Pressen Lokale Medier — which has interests in 61 newspapers in Norway — for delivery of a workflow solution for management and production of ads. The contract covers all 52 A-Pressen titles.
The solution enabled A-Pressen to handle all digital ads automatically, from ad pick-up through quality control to integrated ad production, with every ad trackable in detail.
“Our ad production is spread out … all over Norway, but with the solution from Integration X we how have full overview,” A-Pressen Information and Communication Technology Director Tom Lekang said in a statement. “It saves us money and allows us to provide better service to our customers”.
The solution also merges ad bookings from 25 ad databases, each serving one or more local newspapers. Consolidating all order databases gave sales and production staffers tools to “benefit from the synergy of ad packages as well as the flexibility of our production centers,” Lekang added.
Now covering 10 titles, the solution is expected to be fully deployed for all titles and production centers by year’s end, when the solution will extend to all 25 booking databases in TietoEnator Cross-Advertising and Mactive AdBase systems, as well as interfaces for ad production in both Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress.
Specializing in optimizing newspaper and magazine production, Integration X was founded in 2000, has about 20 employees at offices in Europe and the United States.
