John Jackson is the Detroit Media Partnership’s new vice president of digital sales. The partnership publishes the Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press.
Jackson was most recently with the Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle where he led the print retail department’s transition to a multi-media advertising team. He has been involved with the Newspaper Association of America as a new media fellow, future leaders committee member, digital media leaders mentor, breakthrough mentor, and Digital Edge Awards judge.
“We are thrilled to have John joining our company,” Rebecca Steckler, senior vice president of advertising, said in a statement. “His skill set and experience fits well within DMP’s strategic plans and initiatives.”
