    here’s the issue, and until these people don’t recognize it, their eyeball counts will continue sliding into oblivion: it is NOT a journalist’s job to present her/his opinions as news, and it is not a journalist’s job, either, to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable … a journalist’s ONLY job is to inform, truthfully, as fully as possible, and as objectively as possible … if anyone can be described as not meeting this basic requirement, it would be the nyt …
