Juan Arango has been named editor of Mundo Hisp?nico, Georgia’s largest Spanish-language newspaper.
Arango joins Mundo Hisp?nico from Hoy, where he served as executive editor/senior vice president.
Lino Dominguez, publisher of Mundo Hisp?nico, said in a statement, “The addition of Juan marks a new era for Mundo Hisp?nico. Juan has a passion for journalism, and he is a superb choice to take our newspaper to the next level.”
Before joining the Tribune Company, Arango was president and editor in chief for travel magazine Traves?a.
Mundo Hisp?nico has served metropolitan Atlanta’s Hispanic market since 1979.
